Well done to everyone who played today and yesterday.
In a high quality Junior Final, Daniel triumphed over Artie in straight sets. Well done also to Charlie who beat Arjun yesterday in an exciting three set match for third place. Congratulations to all our Juniors who played the tournament with great spirit and sportsmanship.
Yesterday, Cathy beat Nona to retain the Ladies Singles title, and today Ross also retained his Men’s Singles title beating Paul in straight sets.
In the doubles final Jane and Nick beat Alison and Paul in straight sets
It was a great weekend of tennis as we managed to salvage something from a summer that has been greatly disrupted, and players and spectators also enjoyed a socially distanced glass of wine at the end
Special mention also to Clive and Ashford TC for securing the loan of an umpire’s chair, and to Nick, Tony and Ross for their umpiring.
Looking forward to Finals Day on Sunday 30th August.

The mixed team played it’s final match of the season in a rearranged fixture at Merrow. In a closely fought contest KHTC were losing 5 – 1 and in a tie break in the final match when a hail storm stopped play. The result stands.
Well done to Amanda, Rob, Amanda and Paul.
Looking forward to the summer season and some better weather…
